Photographing Families

Working with families, it’s the best. In a photoshoot like this, it’s when we have that moment that the maturity of the adults fuses with the children's laughs.

At first, everyone is a little on the defense. It’s normal. That is why we start walking and talking a little bit first before I reach out to the camera. We get to know each other and the kids should get used to me. I’m a father myself, so being with children always brings a big smile to my face.

After we get to know more of each other, we usually start with the family taking a small walk to my camera while I initiate taking photographs. Then I start making some jokes, the parents start laughing with the kids and everything is running so naturally, that allows me to capture those authentic and unique moments.

Photographing families is about capturing those vacation moments of true happiness between a tight clan with strong bonds.

I know from experience, children grow up so fast. And that is why it’s also so important to register those moments, those laughs with Mom and Dad. To capture all that love
